Several good choices. Wish I could vote for more than one. My other favorites are the Alcoa Corporate Center, Rodef Shalom Temple, Union Trust Building and Gulf Tower.

Nothing will be eliminated. We couldn’t not recognize what is a historical and iconic work of architecture.

All of these sites are very familiar to me and I have great affection for all of them. I voted for Phipps because it stands alone as a singular example of its architecture in Pittsburgh.

Not familiar with Falling Water. Would be interested in a tour of Pittsburgh’s architecture.

My vote would actually be for the old Alcoa Building. I did a paper on it for an Architecture history course. Fascinating building!

yes it’s a hard choice, but the Carnegie’s scope in a beautiful, uplifting setting is the top of the list.

I love the Alcoa Corporate Center. When this structure was being built, I had the great opportunity to work on several murals inside.

My favorite buildings are those that you just can’t wait to get inside of… of all the buildings shown, it is the Carnegie Museum of Natural History that has the most amazing stuff on the inside…millions of them!!

I have no problem with Falling Water other than the fact that it is not IN PITTSBURGH. It’s 90 minutes from Pittsburgh.
Butler, PA in contrast is only 45 minutes away - however you would not have suggested a great building in Butler on your list.
I believe every other building on the list is actually IN Pittsburgh.
Maybe I’m looking at it the wrong way as Falling Water is very clearly an example of a favorite of people FROM Pittsburgh. Everyone seems to love it, as do it.
